Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act 2014

The Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act 2014 (the Act) received Royal Assent on 1 May 2014. The bulk of the Act came into force on 6 April 2016, although some provisions were commenced earlier (section 132 - the establishment of the National Independent Safeguarding Board); Part 10, Chapter 2 - complaints about private social care and palliative care; section 170 - adoption service: joint arrangements).
