Are there any other limitations on decision-makers' powers?
Decision-makers are also required to comply with limits and requirements in other legislation (primary and subordinate) and the general public law principles discussed in this guidance. This, for example, prevents a public authority from making a decision that is contrary to EU law or rights protected by the Human Rights Act 1998. Public authorities are also required to comply with the other considerations mentioned here.
